a Rafflecopter giveaway

Woah lots of pictures! I decided that I was fed up of looking at expensive dip dye clothes, and so I got myself together and decided how hard could it be!

Now remember this was my first time, so I guess I will be altering some methods next time.

What you'll need:

Clothes Dye (available from large supermarkets or local pharmacies)
3-4 tablespoons of Table Salt
An item of clothing that you choose to dye
Stainless steel sink or a bowl that is not liable for staining! Ask beforehand just in case

1. I started off by picking my dye in the local pharmacy, I choose Dylon in Burlesque Red - €3/4
2. Choose a tank top that I wasn't too afraid of making a mess of, but also a top that I would love to wear if I was successful.
3. I read the back of the instructions, and followed lightly, due to only wanting to dip dye not fully dye my clothes.
4. Soaked the top in warm water and rung it out.
5. Fill up sink or bowl with 4" of water.
5. Add 3 or 4 tablespoons of salt into water (this is to keep dye in the clothes)
6. I added a tablespoon of dye into the water for the initial dip.
7. Placed my top up to the armpits in the water, swaying back and forth as not to get a solid line for 30 seconds.
8. I took the top out and placed it back in half way up the top I left it in there for 1 minute to create a stronger colour.
9. I then added more dye ( half a tablespoon) to dye the final part - the end of the top. swayed back and forth again to create a natural line.
10. I washed the top in cold water to take out excess dye, and hung out on the line.

Note: Due to winds outside my top got thrown around creating splash effects on the white part of the top as you can see in the above picture (to avoid this next time I shall pin all four corners down! haha)

I cannot wait to try this top out!
Definitely going to try out a few jumpers perhaps in a mint coloured dye next!?

Also to keep the dye fresh (the remaining that I didn't use) I kept it sealed with a food clip :)

PS I am 4 followers away from 50 which means it's really close to my first giveaway, can't wait !

I present a Skin Relief Moisturising lotion/cream by Aveeno.

I am somewhat very lucky that I have quite good skin, not too dry, not too oily, normal one would say. Yet I get break outs of quite itchy irritations on my body, hives some weeks, or just itchy patches. Possibly due to my diet, I'm looking into going to an immunologist soon.

Anyway I was going through a bad patch of hives on my arms and no anti-inflammatory was helping or cream. So I popped into my local pharmacy and they recommended this beauty!

It is a very light cooling cream that instantly took away the desire to itch, and brought down the hives over night, it has menthol in it, which gives it a ever slight smell of mint.

Now apart from the calming effect that it had on the skin, it also acts as an intense moisturiser, so its a 2-1 deal!

Would highly recommend this to anyone who gets inflamed sensitive skin, or somebody who is looking for a light moisturiser for their body.

Being bold again and visiting Topshop over the weekend, as I said in a previous post I am more likely to go in and try items on in Topshop and order online due to the horrendous hike in prices for the euro!

So with those intentions I thought I'd be safe! As I went in the doors, SALE screamed out to me, of course I had to have a look, found this gorgeous cream jumper at €30 reduced from €55 so I had to get it, it's thick and cosy perfect for this weather that we're currently having.

Topshop jewellery was in it's truckloads, but the items that I wanted weren't on sale :( But I picked up these beauties! Love the necklace reduced from €18.50 to €4.50 and the ring was half price at €3.50 originally €7.

To top it all off I bought the Topshop highlighter in 'Sunbeam' and from a previous shopping trip the lipstick in 'Brighton Rock'. Both which I shall review later next week.

I haven't had the nicest of weeks lately to top it all off my macbook pro decided to pack in and I am having to pay a hefty €400 for a screen replacement, so me being me decided to treat myself to one or two finale purchases in MAC before I have to pay off my laptop.

This entailed purchases the gorgeous eyeshadow in a neutral shimmer shade 'Nylon'.  Cannot wait to use this for everyday make-up and to make my eyes pop out at night, haha!

Finally I purchased a lipstick from the new collection Hey Sailor, in the shade 'Sail la Vie' It is a light red and is utterly devine! Can't wait to show you what it looks like on.

SO that's the last of purchases for a while but will continue to review all my new products :)
