want big lashes? I do!
17:15I'm always on the search for big lashes, I feel if you had to go of the house with one item of make - up on you could pull it off with mascara.
I normally use Bobbi Brown's Lash Glamour Extreme Lengthening Mascara which is my holy grail of Mascaras! Not everyones cup of tea due to price and the style of brush.
So why change, you may ask?! Well my Bobbi Brown mascara was starting to run low so I took the opportunity to try something new and see if there was a good comparison in a lower price range.
I saw an ad for the L'oreal False Lash Telescopic with Cheryl Cole and thought oh! could this be another mascara that looks great on camera (due to false lashes) but never performs well in reality. I wanted to try and prove myself wrong. So picked up this mascara on a trip to boots in Magnetic Black
These were the results:
No mascara
With one coat of mascara
As you can see there was a huge difference after one coat of mascara, I have quite fair lashes considering I have dark hair so find it hard for them to stand out. After one application I was very satisfied with the depth of the mascara. The brush which is a rubber one, does not create lumps on my eye lashes, which I was afraid of. After two applications of this mascara I feel like i'm wearing a very light pair of false lashes.
I am very pleased with the results of this mascara. Although this mascara is on the higher end of the price range at €17 I am saving €12-€13.
One problem with this mascara is when you rub your eye slightly it tends to smudge quite a lot, staying power isn't 100% but I suppose that is a disadvantage one has to take when you get the volume and length, not to be used when out in the rain. If so get your tissues ready!
I would highly recommend this product if you're on the look for longer, fuller lashes.
My verdict 8/10 would get the 10/10 if it had a stronger smudge control!!

It looks great! But I hate when mascaras don't have a good staying power...too bad! Because it looked promising :)
