I've been wanting to try these nails out for weeks now, but didn't have the guts to try it out! I knew it would be messy and I dislike when I don't get something right first time (yes huge flaw!)
So as we all know procrastination at its worst means I do everything but the task I am set out for, which is completing uni assignments.

What you'll need:

Light nail colour - Essie Fiji
Dark Nail Colour - OPI You're A Pisa Work
Topcoat + Basecoat
Q-Tips
Small Sponge
Cocktail sticks
Nail varnish remover

Started off with a basecoat, my new Nails Inc one.
Applied 2 coats of Essie Fiji
Placed a large dollop of both nail varnished beside each other on a piece of cardboard
Swirled the two colours lightly together with a cocktail stick
Placed sponge on top of varnish and went crazy on my nails!
Just remember you can be as messy as you want as you just have to clean the edges up with nail varnish remover!

Hope you enjoyed it, Think I will try this again and hopefully get better at it as time goes on!

This was in my recent Birthday Haul, Love this shade. Jermyn street was my go to nail colour last summer and I think this could be my new 'IT' nail colour for this season. I find it goes with most outfits. It is neat enough for work, not bright and not too dull.
I used two coats for a perfect look.

What is your favourite Nails Inc colour?

Wow, have been off over the weekend so I've had a lovely Easter spending time with my friends and family and it's been hectic! I've done quite a bit of work, ate a lot of chocolate and spent a little too much on clothes! Can't wait to post what I bought.

For the moment I am about to post about a nail varnish I bought from Topshop 2 weeks ago.

Have to admit I fell in love with this metallic nail polish in Hyperreal on the Topshop website a few months ago, but when I went to buy it they were out of stock, but then I got lucky!

I absolutely love this nail polish, the pictures are after two coats, excuse that one of the nails is a little messy. I am off to fix this right now!

At €11 it's a little steep but for staying power and non chipping I'm falling for their polishes.

Another mention is the brush itself I find it very easy to use, it has a square bottom, unlike others with a rounded bottom.
It is easy to get the polish to the edge of the nail without going overboard. With two clean sweeps by nail is covered.

One thing about this polish: it is VERY hard to get off, a lot of scrubbing with the remover, but It's worth the effort.

I have decided to do nails of the week instead of nails of the day as I don't change my varnish everyday.  Due to work I have to keep my nails extremely neat and tidy, that includes no chips. I've got quite strong nails which I'm lucky to have and they grow quickly, therefore I do not use false nails on a regular basis.

One of my choice of go to varnish is Barry M I find that after 2-3 coats plus a topcoat it will last 5/6 days without chipping, which is amazing for me! Although Barry M takes a lot longer to dry compared to other brands that I have used.

Loving this colour, it is Peach Melba and to me is the ultimate spring/summer shade, yes I may be a little early in the season but to my delight Boots Ireland are now stocking Barry M, I previously had to buy these polishes when I visited England.

After applying my two coats of peach melba I decided to spice it up a little with a Models Own nail art pen something which I haven't used before. Just a few stripes to start out with and I'm sure I'll get a little braver.
